Kinderdagverblijf Zand op de Mat is located on the grounds of care centre Heijendaal in the Lombok district of Arnhem. We provide full-day childcare all year round for children aged 0 to 4 in a small-scale, homely environment. Our vision is to offer children a warm and safe environment in which they feel cherished, supported and encouraged, so that they can grow and flourish and their full potential can develop. At Zand op de Mat we value spending time outdoors. We provide children with challenging play materials in a safe indoor and outdoor play area. Our outdoor space invites climbing, clambering and romping, imaginative play and enjoying sand and water play. We believe in a healthy environment and lay the foundation for taking good care of yourself and your surroundings. Natural materials, healthy food and plenty of time outdoors are key elements. Kinderdagverblijf Zand op de Mat is part of Zand op de Mat Kinderopvang B.V., founded in 2018 by Monique Eggermont and Iris Brinkhuis. We have since grown to three locations in Arnhem, with each daycare centre offering a maximum of 16 places. This guarantees small-scale care and personal attention for every child.
