Kinderdagverblijf Villa de Bonte Vlinder

Kinderdagverblijf Villa de Bonte Vlinder is situated at Rietgorslaan 2 in Rozenburg and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Nissewaard. We provide day care for children aged 0–4 in a former school building that has been fully adapted to the needs of young children. The centre has 27 places per day, divided between two groups: the vertical group ‘de Harlekijn’ (0–4 years) in the main building and the toddler group ‘de Kleine Vossen’ (1.5–4 years) in a luxury cabin on the same grounds. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the continuous Early Childhood Education programme ‘Uk en Puk’ offered by the municipality of Rotterdam. Every day they provide meaningful play activities that stimulate language and cognitive development. Activities are tailored to the developmental level of the group and each child receives individual attention. Fixed teams ensure familiar faces and a predictable daily rhythm in which rest periods, outdoor play and development-oriented activities alternate. The Harlekijn offers a spacious, bright group room with its own kitchen, two sleeping rooms and a sheltered outdoor play area. In fine weather children can safely play outside. The Kleine Vossen has its own unit with kitchen, sleeping room and child-friendly toilets, surrounded by a fenced garden. The entire site is accessible via a lockable gate, ensuring safety at all times. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each family is assigned a personal mentor who closely monitors the child’s development and acts as the primary contact. We use the parent portal Kidsadmin for transparent access to information such as allergies and medication.
