Welcome to Veld-Zicht, our agricultural daycare located on a dairy farm at Hekendorpse Buurt 99 in Hekendorp. We are Hein and Petra Blom-den Boer, living together with our four children Nick, Maaike, Joris and Laura on this beautiful location. Veld-Zicht has been a dairy farm for multiple generations, which we combine with great pleasure and passion with agricultural daycare for children from 10 weeks to 4 years old. Our daycare accommodates up to 30 children per day and is affiliated with VAK (United Agricultural Daycare). Children are cared for in vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. The natural environment of our farm forms the basis for daily activities. Children get acquainted with farm life, the animals on the farm, and the seasons in nature. We believe that in this environment, children have the space to grow and develop at their own pace. Our professional, responsible and enthusiastic team works in a self-organizing manner and is ready every day to provide children with a safe and stimulating environment. The farm location offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and discovering nature. Children can help in the vegetable garden, care for the animals, and enjoy the fresh outdoor air. We find it important that children learn through play about sustainability and how to interact with animals and nature. Veld-Zicht is more than just daycare. In addition to agricultural daycare, we also provide residential care for people with dementia and a coaching practice. This unique combination creates a warm, homely atmosphere where young and old can meet. We are proud of what we have built together here and gladly share all the beauty that Veld-Zicht has to offer with its beautiful rural location.
