Our mission is to provide a warm place where every child can be themselves. Our location accommodates up to 95 children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate in a small-scale, homely setting with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere where every child feels at home. Our nature garden is our pride: a place where children can romp, discover and play among the edible berry bushes and chicken coop. Being outdoors is just as important to us as being indoors. We believe that through direct contact with nature, children develop their creativity and learn a healthy lifestyle. Our dedicated childcare professionals are ready to guide your child in their development. They are loving, enthusiastic and attentive to the individual needs of each child. Contact with parents is informal and we tailor our childcare to the wishes of both child and parents. Kinderdagverblijf Us Stekje is part of Kinderopvang Us Stekje B.V., established in 2013. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register and comply with all legal quality requirements. Our location is supervised by GGD Fryslân.
