Kinderdagverblijf Tobias

Kinderdagverblijf Tobias is a small-scale daycare center located in the heart of Wassenaar, housed in a converted residential building on Fresiaplein. Since September 2004, we have been providing care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two groups. Our team, led by Heidi and Aafke van der Kroft, consists of loving childcare professionals who give each child intensive attention and care. Due to our small-scale nature, we are able to offer high-quality childcare that is optimal for each individual child. We consciously choose small groups to ensure intensive contact between the childcare professionals and the children. This allows the staff and children to get to know each other very well, fostering a strong attachment bond. From this foundation, children feel safe and can develop optimally. Our sleeping facilities are also designed on a small scale. In each of the five bedrooms, a maximum of three children can sleep at the same time. This allows each child to maintain the sleep rhythm they need and are used to at home. We provide bottle feeding and ensure healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day. We also provide care products for the children's personal care. At Kinderdagverblijf Tobias, we believe it is important for children to develop through play. We therefore regularly organize music and dance activities and stimulate the children's language development. We work closely with parents and invite them for an introductory meeting before their child starts with us. During this meeting, we are happy to show you our daycare center and provide you with extensive information about our approach.
