Kindercentrum 't Gouden Hartje

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf ’t Gouden Hartje, a homely daycare centre located at Essenburg 1C in Ede where children aged 0 to 4 feel safe and cherished. We opened our doors in 2023 with the mission to offer every child a warm, small-scale environment in which to play, explore and grow. Our single horizontal group, called ‘Lieve Hartjes’, welcomes up to fourteen children, ensuring each child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our approach centres on calm, routine and hygiene. The day starts at 07:30 with a friendly welcome, followed by fruit at 09:30 and creative activities such as arts & crafts, painting, building and simple cooking. We sing, dance and make music, while also introducing early language and numeracy. Babies enjoy extra quiet moments and sensory play; they are read to and gently stimulated. At 12:00 we serve a fresh, hot lunch – think rice with chicken and vegetables or macaroni with minced meat – so parents can relax at home and enjoy quality time later. We spend plenty of time outdoors in our secure garden and organise regular outings to the petting zoo, library or local park. Our qualified staff guide the children with patience and expertise, taking care of nappy changes, naps and potty training according to each family’s wishes.
