Kinderdagverblijf Snuffie, located at Rijnstraat 232 in Amsterdam, is a small-scale daycare centre that welcomes up to 10 children aged 0–4 at a time. We organise our groups vertically, so babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together under the guidance of motivated, qualified and enthusiastic staff who give every child the individual attention they deserve. At Snuffie the child is always at the centre. We see ourselves as partners in parenting and do our best to create a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and loved. Our approach is pedagogically sound and includes pre-school education using the PUK & KO method, allowing your child to develop naturally through play. Our programme is varied and educational. We regularly go on trips to the petting zoo, playgrounds, Artis zoo and Tunfun. Singing and dancing are part of the daily routine; parents often tell us that their children proudly perform the latest songs and dance moves at home. We also love arts and crafts, so expect your child to come home with a new drawing or handmade creation on a regular basis. Because we are small, we know every child and every parent personally. We want you to leave your child with complete peace of mind, so our door is always open for a cup of coffee and a chat. Together we make sure your child enjoys a happy, enriching and loving time at Snuffie.
