Kinderdagverblijf Silvester

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Silvester, a small-scale daycare centre located at Dudokpad 1 in Leiden. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two horizontal groups: babies (0-2) and toddlers (2-4). Each group has its own room, while sharing one large indoor play area and a safe outdoor playground. We are also members of the playground association around the corner, giving us extra outdoor space every day. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’. Each morning we offer an activity such as music, dance, language or arts and crafts. A fixed, calm daily rhythm guides us: 09:30 fruit snack, 10:30 activity, 11:30 hot meal, 12:30 nap, 14:30 bread meal and 15:30 outdoor play. When the weather is nice, children sleep outside in special outdoor sleeping prams. We believe parents should be able to hand over care without worry. Therefore we provide nappies, formula feeding, sleeping products and sunscreen. Allergies and dietary requirements are discussed individually so every child can grow up safely and healthily. Communication is easy through the parent portal app KidsVision, where you receive photos and daily reports. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00.
