Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Sam & Kids at EGoliplein 1 in Amsterdam Zuidoost. We are a small-scale organisation operating one daycare centre and one after-school location; our EGoliplein site is dedicated entirely to children aged 0–4. Registered in the National Childcare Register since 2010, we provide care for up to 92 children each day. At Sam & Kids we work with weekly themes and offer a varied daily programme centred on music, creative expression and nature experience. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide children in small, same-age groups, giving every child space to develop at their own pace. We use natural materials and go outside every day, allowing children to explore and learn through all their senses. The location features its own outdoor playground, separate sleeping rooms and a preschool group that follows an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) curriculum. We provide bottle feeding, warm meals and healthy snacks, taking allergies or special diets into account. Parents can choose full or half-day care and receive a monthly update on their child’s development. We believe children should feel safe and happy coming to daycare. That is why you will always meet familiar faces, find a clear daily rhythm and receive lots of personal attention. Together with parents we create a warm, secure environment where children can grow into independent, happy individuals.
