Kinderdagverblijf RK de Regenboog

Kinderdagverblijf RK de Regenboog is located at Gronsvelderf 105 in the heart of Rotterdam-Beverwaard and has provided registered daycare for up to 32 children aged 0–4 since 1 March 2016. We are part of the Stichting Katholieke Peuteropvang Rotterdam en omstreken (SKPR) and operate from a warm, Catholic identity that welcomes every family sharing our vision. Our approach is small-scale and personal: every child receives the calm, security and space needed to develop to the fullest. We work with horizontal groups, so babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play in age-specific rooms with matching toys and activities. Trust, warmth and close alignment with home life are central. Our qualified pedagogical staff closely follow each child’s development and tailor guidance and care accordingly. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and snacks; bread meals are included. Nappies and care products are not supplied, allowing parents to use the brands their child is used to. Children with an indication can receive extra support and longer days through our Peuteracademy option. Pre-school education (VE) is standard: we use the Uk & Puk programme that playfully stimulates language, motor skills, social development and early numeracy. Parents are warmly invited to join the daily drop-in time to start the morning calmly together with their child and share experiences with our team. Kinderdagverblijf RK de Regenboog is fully LRK-registered, so parents are entitled to childcare allowance. Our premises are inspected annually by the GGD and are within walking distance of primary school De Regenboog, making the transition to the infant classes familiar and smooth.
