Prins Heerlijk Daycare B.V. has been a trusted address at Prins Hendriklaan 97 in Utrecht for over 20 years, located opposite the Rietveld Schröder House and within walking distance of beautiful Wilhelminapark. We provide small-scale, homely childcare for up to 27 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into a baby group and a toddler group. Our dedicated team of pedagogical professionals offers personal attention and developmental support every day. At Prins Heerlijk, the unique child is always central. We follow the child at their own pace and needs, working from respect, trust and loving guidance. Our vision is clear: every child is allowed to be who they are, in all their purity and uniqueness. We see ourselves as an extension of the family and actively support parents in parenting. Because of our small scale, we know every child and every parent personally, creating a close, safe environment. We offer a rich range of activities that connect with the world of young children. Weekly we alternate between yoga classes, given by Laura from Leerkriebels, and music lessons by DoReMiranda. Children's yoga helps toddlers and preschoolers get to know their own body and boundaries, while music stimulates social-emotional and cognitive development. Additionally, we involve children in the entire process around food: together we pick up fresh bread from Baker District, where children learn about origin, healthy food and independent ordering. Our location is designed as a warm, homely home. We work as much as possible with natural materials, separate waste and serve organic and varied meals. The baby group offers peace and security, while the toddler group provides space for discovery, play and learning. We use horizontal groups, where children of similar age play and develop together under the guidance of familiar faces. Prins Heerlijk Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) since January 1, 2010, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
