Kinderdagverblijf Piccolo is located at Johanniterweg 4 in the wooded area of Doorwerth and is part of RivaKids. Our core values – curiosity, trust and connection – guide everything we do. Together with our hand-puppet Puk, the children set off on a daily adventure in a world that matches their own imagination. Is Puk ill or going on a trip? Every story is experienced together. We work with two clear age groups: a baby group for children aged 0-2 and a toddler group for children aged 2-4. This horizontal structure allows us to tailor our approach precisely to what your child needs at each stage of development. Inside you will find different play corners that spark curiosity, while the large outdoor garden is full of balancing games, discovery spots and play materials. For the very youngest there are outdoor cribs, so an afternoon nap in the fresh air is also possible. Our regular pedagogical staff provide personal attention and a warm hand-over every day. We believe it is important that parents and children feel at home immediately. That is why we start the day together: a quick chat, then wave together as mum or dad leaves. Fruit, bread and healthy snacks are part of this, as is moving in nature twice a day. We regularly walk into the forest, because outdoor play is healthy and stimulates development in many ways. Kinderdagverblijf Piccolo is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. We provide care for up to 48 children and charge an hourly rate of € 10.93 (2025). In advance we always plan a calm settling-in period, so your child can get used to it at his or her own pace. Would you like a tour?
