Peuterstap is an important step in your child's life. As Fiers Kindontwikkeling en Kinderopvang, we do everything we can to make this step go as smoothly as possible. Our location at van Heutszsingel 9 in Coevorden provides care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. We are located in a classroom of the Paul Krugerschool, which ensures a smooth transition to primary school later on. We work with the preschool education method Piramide. This method focuses on the development of toddlers in the areas of language, arithmetic, social-emotional development and motor skills. Recently, we switched to digital Piramide, which allows us to better track each child's development and tailor our offerings accordingly. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and respectful climate where rules and routines are clear. The space is attractively and challengingly designed, with attention to the theme being worked on. We offer structured activities where both free play and guided play are central. This ensures that toddlers are actively engaged in activities meant for them. We believe it is important that children meet each other and learn to play together in a safe environment. The children receive structured attention and guidance in their individual development for one or more half-days per week. We work closely with parents: there are four signal discussions per year and we discuss the development of the toddlers at fixed times. Our location is open five mornings a week and on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer extended care. Peuterstap is part of Stichting Fiers Kindontwikkeling en Kinderopvang, an organization that stands strong in society and is proud of all children in education and childcare.
