Kinderdagverblijf Onder de Boompjes Velp B.V.

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Onder de Boompjes v.o.f. in Velp! We are a small-scale daycare center located in the broad school building "De Verrekijker" at Beukenlaan 6. Our daycare provides care for up to 60 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into three age groups. Everything we do revolves around attention, peace, clarity and care. We have three special groups for our youngest children: The Tiny Mice for babies, The Sweet Caterpillars for toddlers from 1.5 years, and The Fluttering Butterflies for preschoolers from 2 to 4 years. Each group has its own space and specific approach. Our baby group The Tiny Mice has its own playground with vegetable garden, sandbox, traffic square and playhouse with slide. In good weather, the little ones can sleep outside in our outdoor beds. Inside we have a large, clear space with different play areas, including a special living room for a maximum of 3 babies up to 6 months to quietly get used to all the new stimuli. For the toddlers we have The Sweet Caterpillars, where we run a special program for children from 1.5 to 2.5 years. We learn the daily routine, practice tidying up with our clean-up song and play purposefully. We pay close attention to each child's development and tailor the program accordingly. Our preschool group The Fluttering Butterflies works with Early Preschool Education (VVE) and uses the themes of Dikkie Dik and his friend Bear. We offer an appropriate activity program that matches the different developmental areas of preschoolers. We regularly go on trips to the petting zoo or forest, work together in our vegetable garden or take a trip with our cargo bike. Rain or shine, children always go outside with us! We have boots and umbrellas for when it rains, and in nice weather we apply extra sunscreen. With us, the child is central and we offer a safe, familiar environment where every child can develop optimally.
