Our daycare centre De Blokhut is located in a charming wooden building in the heart of Veenendaal. The interior feels like home and we love to play in our beautiful outdoor area. At Fris! Kinderopvang children grow up in a playful way. Our safe structure gives every child all the space to discover the world around them and to develop into an independent individual. We work from the Dalton values that have been central since our founding – as the first Dalton daycare centre in the Netherlands. We teach children to ‘do it themselves’. Every child is given the space to take steps towards independence at their own pace; this builds confidence in their own abilities. The most enjoyable way to develop is through play: trying new things on your own, discovering together, sometimes falling, but always getting back up. Our pedagogical staff provide warm and loving care. From an early age we practise playing and sharing together; the first step towards becoming a social world citizen. We have an eye for both child and parent, keep lines short and offer plenty of personal attention. A well-thought-out daily rhythm gives children safety and predictability; from there they are given all the creative freedom to explore themselves and the world. With the Uk & Puk method we stimulate language development, motor skills and social skills. Indoors and outdoors there is plenty of room to play, discover and grow. Parents stay involved through our parent portal and we warmly invite you for a tour so you can experience the atmosphere yourself.
