Welcome to daycare Mijn Diamantje Lelystad, located at Voorstraat 403-407. We provide care for children from 6 weeks to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our vision is that every child is unique and is allowed to be themselves. We look at the child as an individual and support and guide the child in his or her development. Our pedagogical approach focuses on stimulating the individual development of the child in six areas: emotional development, language development, social development, personal development, norms and values, and self-reliance. We work from John Bowlby's attachment theory, where secure attachment is central. Through language, singing, play, music, sports and creativity we stimulate the children's development. At Mijn Diamantje everything is included: diapers, meals and a sleeping bag. Only bottles and special dietary food need to be brought from home. We work with small groups with a maximum capacity of 12 children, ensuring plenty of personal attention for each child. Placement is possible from two sessions (one full day) per week. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
