Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Meneer Koekepeer, located at Roggeveldstraat 15a in the heart of Bunde. We are a small-scale daycare centre where a maximum of 35 children aged 0 to 4 years find a second home. Registered in the National Childcare Register since 31 October 2016, parents can apply for childcare allowance. At Meneer Koekepeer we believe childcare should be more than just supervision. We work from our ‘Green Heart’: together we eat organic food, have fun in small groups and play in our large green garden. Our own vegetable patch and caring for small animals are part of the daily experience. Thematic work, creative activities and baking our own bread are simply part of the programme. We respond with integrity and give every child the space to be themselves. Safety and security come first, so children feel happy and involved. We use vertical groups: children from 0 to 4 years sit together in one close-knit group. This way toddlers and babies learn from each other and babies get extra attention from the older children. The small scale ensures we really know everyone. Our pedagogical staff provide individual attention and tailor the daily rhythm to your child’s needs. We often sleep outside in the fresh air and use natural care products. There is always room for a bottle, fresh fruit or an organic snack; special diets and allergies are of course respected. In short, at Kinderdagverblijf Meneer Koekepeer children find a safe, green and loving place where they can grow up in small-scale connectedness.
