Kinderdagverblijf Madeliefje

Kinderdagverblijf Madeliefje is a small-scale, professional childcare centre located in the Kersenboogerd neighbourhood centre at Brederodegracht 1 in Hoorn. We provide loving care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our group is organised vertically: children of different ages share the same space, allowing babies to observe toddlers and toddlers to learn to care for the little ones. We deliberately tailor activities to each child’s age and interests and always offer an inspiring play and learning environment. We believe movement is healthy and important, so we devote extra attention to activities such as music, dance, drama and yoga. These activities are adapted to the developmental stage of toddlers and babies and stimulate both gross and fine motor skills. Every day we serve a warm, organic and freshly prepared meal. Eating together is a moment of cosiness and calm where children learn to share and taste. Our small, permanent team of pedagogical staff ensures that your child always sees familiar faces, providing security and making morning drop-off and end-of-day handover smooth. Kinderdagverblijf Madeliefje is only a five-minute walk from Kersenboogerd railway station and is housed in the same building as our after-school care. This offers the convenience that siblings aged 4-12 can stay and play at the same location when they move on to BSO. Our aim is for every child to arrive happily and go home cheerfully at the end of the day.
