Welcome to Little Super Stars Daycare at Groene Hilledijk 282E in the heart of Rotterdam-Zuid. We are a GGD-certified childcare centre that has been providing professional care for children aged 0-4 since 2015. Our location is quietly situated yet close to main roads and public transport, making drop-off and pick-up easy for parents. Everything we do revolves around a warm, safe and stimulating environment in which every child can develop to the fullest. We work with small, horizontal groups so that each child receives the attention they deserve. Our regular pedagogical staff follow the rhythm of your baby or toddler and tailor the daily programme accordingly. For the very youngest this means we keep to the sleep and feeding schedule they have at home; only from 12-18 months do we gradually, and always in consultation with you, transition to the fixed daily rhythm of Little Super Stars. A typical day with us looks like this: between 07:30 and 09:30 the children are welcomed with time for an extra cuddle or story. At 09:30 we sing ‘tidy up, tidy up, everything has a place’ together, enjoy fresh fruit and open the day with a cheerful ‘good-morning greeting’. Next comes an activity: we feed our rabbits, go to the park, the petting zoo or play in our own garden. In bad weather we puzzle, craft or dress up inside and there is room for toddler dance or music lessons. Around 12:00 we sit down together for a fresh, healthy lunch with milk, tea or water. After the ‘enjoy-your-meal song’ it is nap time; babies in a quiet bedroom, toddlers and pre-schoolers on their own stretcher bed with a story. Around 15:00 everyone is rested and the children receive a healthy snack. We end the day with another activity or playtime until the last parents pick up their child at 18:30. Extras we offer include baby massage, music lessons, toddler dance, puppet theatre and drama performances. Birthdays are celebrated exuberantly with garlands, balloons, a birthday hat and a small present. New children and staff are welcomed with a song and a warm welcome; saying goodbye is done carefully with a story, a song and a hug. Everything your child experiences with us can be found in the parent portal: photos, a short report and the eating and sleeping schedule. This way you know exactly how the day went.
