Kinderdagverblijf Little Super Stars

Welcome to Little Super Stars Daycare, located at Overtoom 491-493 in vibrant Amsterdam Oud-West, right next to Vondelpark. We provide loving, professional childcare for up to 31 children aged 0–4 years. Our focus is on creating a warm, secure environment where every child can develop at his or her own pace. For our youngest guests we follow the familiar home routine: our qualified staff keep to the sleep and feeding schedule set by parents, allowing babies to set their own daily rhythm. Throughout the day they can play in a playpen, on a soft mat, from a bouncy chair or swing, or simply enjoy cuddles on a caregiver’s lap. Babies love our gentle baby massage sessions and are captivated by music lessons. We also involve them in simple arts-and-crafts activities, which never fail to bring smiles. From around 12–18 months we gradually transition—always in consultation with parents—to the daily rhythm of Little Super Stars. This gentle shift gives toddlers a reassuring structure while respecting their need for security. Special moments are celebrated together. Birthdays are a big deal: garlands, balloons, a handmade birthday crown and, of course, singing “Jop” at the table. Every birthday child receives a small gift and may hand out treats. If parents opt for edible treats, we serve only vegetables or fruit; other goodies are safely sent home at the end of the day. New faces—children and staff alike—receive a warm welcome. At 09:30 we introduce ourselves and sing a welcome song so everyone feels at home right away. Farewells are handled with equal care. Children moving on to primary school enjoy a proper goodbye party with a story, songs and a gift. We take time to look back on all the milestones: the first roll, the first steps, the first words. At Little Super Stars we build more than development—we build lasting bonds.
