Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Lieve Schoot, located on Derkinderenstraat in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We are a professional yet cosy daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4. Our strength lies in being small-scale and homely, ensuring every child receives the individual attention they deserve. We divide the children into two age-based groups. ‘De Lieverdjes’ welcomes children from 0-4 years, while ‘De Toppertjes’ is designed for toddlers aged 2-4. This horizontal grouping allows us to tailor activities, daily rhythms and the environment to the developmental stage of each child. Fixed key workers build trust and security; your child always knows who is taking care of them. Outdoor play is part of our daily routine. Only in very cold weather do we stay inside. Our garden is a safe, challenging space where children can move freely and explore nature. We serve fresh, balanced meals and healthy snacks every day, adapted to the needs of young children. Kinderdagverblijf Lieve Schoot is also an official preschool, offering early-years education programmes that stimulate your child’s development and ensure a smooth transition to primary school.
