Welcome to Lieve Schoot Daycare located at Derkinderenstraat 52 in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We are a professional and cozy daycare center for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our team consists of enthusiastic and qualified pedagogical staff who ensure your child feels safe and comfortable with us. At Lieve Schoot, we work with age groups. Our youngest children (0-2 years) are in 'De Lieverdjes' where they receive lots of guidance and support. The older children (2-4 years) are in 'De Toppertjes' where they can be more independent. This grouping is practical as children of different ages have different needs. We provide a homely and small-scale environment with individual attention for each child. Our pedagogical staff are regular caregivers on location, creating trust and security. The environment and furnishings closely match the age groups and are inviting and challenging. We go outside for active play daily, only staying indoors during very cold weather. We work with a balanced daily rhythm adjusted to the average age of the group. For meals, we serve healthy food daily with fresh products, including bread meals and fruit. To optimize communication with parents, we use the Kidsadmin parent portal where you can view photos, read messages, and handle administrative matters.
