Kinderdagverblijf Kwetternest

Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal Kwetternest, located at Vedelaarpad 53 in the green Overhees district of Soest. We offer small-scale, safe and homely toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Our site is situated on the same grounds as petting zoo De Veenweide, allowing the children to play daily in a beautiful, natural environment. At Kwetternest we work with horizontal groups. The morning group is for the youngest toddlers from 2 years old. The focus here is on getting used to the playgroup and being together in a group. Children can gradually get used to the new environment. The afternoon group is for older toddlers aged 3. Here, the children are playfully prepared for primary school. We provide activities that match their developmental stage and challenge them with engaging games. Our fixed activity program is based on Uk & Puk. This program offers recognition and structure. Daily we sing songs, read aloud, do crafts and make music. We pay attention to language development and encourage children to play and learn together. The natural environment around the farm offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and outdoor play. Our playroom has one group space and its own, protected playground. There are always two familiar, qualified pedagogical staff members present who provide a safe and warm environment. We believe it is important that every child is seen and that we closely follow their development. This way we ensure they have a good start in primary education.
