Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Koersvast, a permanently small-scale daycare center located in the Noorderplassen district of Almere Stad. Since May 2015, we have been proudly providing full-day care for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare was established by owner Els Alberts, who has been working with great pleasure in childcare for 28 years, including 21 years as an independent entrepreneur. We operate with two horizontal groups: a baby/toddler group for up to 12 children aged 0-2 years and a toddler group for up to 14 children aged 2-4 years. In these groups, our permanent, qualified and experienced childcare professionals provide targeted activities in a cozy and challenging play environment. We use beautiful wooden play materials and have a delightful seasonal table that we regularly supplement with self-found natural treasures like chestnuts, leaves and flowers. At Kinderdagverblijf Koersvast, we believe outdoor air is very important! We love being outside and regularly go out to collect natural materials for our seasonal table. We carefully observe each child's needs and respond accordingly, in a way that allows children to simply be children. Every child is different and we have an eye for each individual child. Our approach is characterized by lots of love, warmth and humor. Standards and values are high on our priority list; we consider respectful interaction with each other as normal. We maintain a fixed daily structure that helps children feel at ease quickly. Small-scale means permanently small-scale for us - we value that all staff members personally know the children and parents, creating a bond of trust. We work intensively with parents. Besides drop-off and pick-up moments, we keep a child journal, organize parent evenings (both optional and general) and have a transition conversation when moving from the baby/toddler group to the toddler group. Around primary school time, there's a final conversation. The owner herself works on the group, ensuring a direct line to parents and colleagues while maintaining her vision. Kinderdagverblijf Koersvast is located at Boelijn 71 in Almere, easily accessible by car via the Hoge Ring and by public transport line 6. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
