Kinderdagverblijf Klein & Co Westerpark is located at Jacob Catskade 33 in Amsterdam West, less than a ten-minute walk from the popular Westerpark. From our bright, spacious rooms children watch the boats sail along the Kattensloot canal. This unique spot offers our 39 children (aged 0-4) a new adventure every day. We run vertical groups: De Vuurtoren and Het Schuitje care for children from 0 to 4 years old, while De Optimist is our peuter-plus group where children from about 3 years are playfully prepared for primary school. Each group has a permanent team of experienced pedagogical staff who create a homely, safe atmosphere. The large discovery garden is a favourite: there is a separate baby corner for the very youngest, a big sandpit and a slide on a slope. Outside, children can move freely, take on motor challenges and discover nature. Our daily schedule is flexible and tailored to the children’s world of experience. We work with themes such as cooking & nutrition, language, art & culture and music. Every day we serve a warm, fresh meal from Moekes Maaltijd, adjusted to your child’s age. From 6 months children can join the meal. We also make regular trips to the petting zoo in Westerpark, watch the boats on the Kattensloot or play in the nearby playground. Kinderdagverblijf Klein & Co Westerpark is open every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30. We value personal contact with parents: during drop-off and pick-up there is time for a chat and we regularly discuss your child’s development through our child-tracking system. Our goal is for your child to feel safe, happy and challenged to discover the world with us.
