We are KidZoo, a small-scale daycare centre on a farm on the edge of Woudenberg, surrounded by meadows. Since March 2023 we welcome children from 0 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment where nature experience is central. With a maximum of 27 children we work in horizontal groups: a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years). Each group has fixed supervisors, so your child always feels familiar and we can build a close bond. Our location at Rumelaarseweg 5a offers plenty of space to play and discover outdoors. Children have daily opportunities to interact with animals, play in the garden and explore nature. We believe in the importance of being outside and therefore work outside a lot, regardless of the weather. Our children receive outdoor play suits and rain boots so they can move and play freely. We offer fun and educational activities within a fixed daily routine. Daily we read aloud, sing songs and talk a lot with the children to stimulate their language development. Additionally, we craft regularly and pay attention to themes that connect to the children's world of experience. Our pedagogical staff approach each child as an individual with their own developmental pace and interests. For the youngest we have a separate baby group where rest and trust are central. We follow your baby's rhythm and offer customised bottle feeding. For the toddler group we work with a fixed daily schedule in which playing, learning and resting alternate. We provide bread meals with healthy toppings and fresh fruit as snacks. With food allergies we naturally take into account the specific needs of your child. KidZoo Daycare is open 51 weeks per year, closed between Christmas and New Year. We offer both full and half days of care, tailored to your family's needs.
