Kinderdagverblijf Kids World/Klappermanstraat

Welcome to Kids World Daycare at Klappermanstraat 8A in Valkenswaard. Since 1 January 2006 we have provided small-scale childcare in a warm, home-like setting for children aged 0 to 4. Our location offers 42 places, divided into three age groups: a baby group (0-14 months), a toddler group (14 months-2.5 years) and a pre-school group (2.5 years until primary-school start). This horizontal grouping ensures every child receives care and stimulation that perfectly matches his or her developmental stage. We follow the Startblokken method, a development-oriented activity programme that playfully encourages language, numeracy and social skills. Our pedagogical staff are supported by a specialist trainer for young children who observes, advises and, when needed, guides parents. In this way we guarantee a continuous, expert approach tailored to the world of young children. The bright, open spaces and large adjoining outdoor playground form the physical base where children can move and explore freely. We offer flexible care options: full days from 7.30 am-6 pm, morning or afternoon half-days, and, for a small extra fee, from 6.30 am or until 6.30 pm. Occasional care is also possible by arrangement, provided group composition and staffing allow it. Fruit, drinks and bread meals are included; special diets and allergies are of course catered for in consultation with parents. At Kids World we believe every child should feel safe, secure and challenged. We know each child and their parents personally, allowing us to respond quickly to individual needs. Our doors are open 52 weeks a year, except on official public holidays.
