KDV Wommels It Skarrelspultsje

Welcome to Peuteropvang It Skarrelspultsje, a warm and safe place for children aged 2 to 4 in the heart of Wommels. We are part of Association Kids First and provide care for up to 16 children per day. Our location at Walperterwei 14b has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 7, 2010. At It Skarrelspultsje we work with a clear daily schedule that provides peace and structure. The day starts with a welcome moment where children hang up their own photo and we see who is present. This is followed by a circle time with songs, theme discussion and a joint activity. We work in small groups on VVE activities (Uk & Puk) where we playfully work on language, math and social skills. In between there is room for free play in our various corners such as the construction corner, home corner and reading corner. Around 10:30 it's time for fruit and a joint activity at the table. Then we go outside to play in our safe garden. We end the morning with a circle discussion where we share the experiences of the day and say goodbye to the children. We believe healthy nutrition is important. We eat together at the table, where we create a relaxed atmosphere and encourage children to eat independently. Fruit, bread and drinks are included. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. Our pedagogical staff provide each child with individual attention and guide them in their development. We work closely with parents through the Nanny 4 All parent app and have regular parent meetings. For children with a VVE indication, we draw up an action plan that we evaluate every 10 weeks.
