Kinderdagverblijf Ikke Ook!

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Ikke Ook!, our small-scale daycare centre located at Molenweg 24a in the heart of Bergharen. We provide professional care for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years in a homely atmosphere, surrounded by a green, wooded area. The name ‘Ikke Ook!’ comes from toddler talk and reflects exactly what we value: every child is seen and allowed to be themselves. We work with one vertical group of up to 16 children per day. Children of different ages are together, just like in a family. This creates calm, familiarity and stimulates language and social development. Your child is guided by the same qualified staff throughout their time with us, building a deep bond so they feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical approach focuses on unconditionally accepting each child and following their individual needs. We use the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Uk & Puk’, which stimulates broad development through play. Each month we create a scrapbook with photos and crafts, and every child receives a personal Ikke Ook! booklet where we record sleep and meal times. We also schedule an annual development conversation around your child’s birthday. We are open five days a week from 07:30 to 18:00 and operate 51 weeks a year. Extra days and swap days are possible for flexibility. Together with our parent committee we organise fun parties and parent evenings.
