Welcome to SKO KDV IKC De Vlinder, located at Cotoneasterstraat 19A in the heart of Wezep. We are part of Integral Child Center (IKC) De Vlinder, a unique collaboration between Stichting Kindcentrum Oldebroek (SKO), primary school De Bron and CBS De Spoorzoeker. In our modern, sustainably built center, we provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in two age groups: The Red Butterfly (0-2 years) and The Blue Butterfly (2-4 years). Each group is carefully equipped with age-appropriate materials and toys that match your child's development. At SKO, we believe the child should be at the center. We look at your child's needs and development and tailor our guidance accordingly, starting from the baby group. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the schools within the IKC, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. We offer daily activities that stimulate various developmental areas, such as circle activities, crafts and games, always aligned with the Uk & Puk theme. As a green organization, we value respect for nature. Our toddler group has its own vegetable garden that we maintain together with the children. This teaches them that nature needs attention to grow. We use as many natural or recyclable materials as possible in our groups. Our healthy nutrition policy ensures your child is offered fruit, vegetables and other healthy foods daily. We also encourage at least half an hour of outdoor play daily, using our safe outdoor play area with natural elements. Our location is equipped with all necessary facilities for young children. We provide diapers and wipes, bottle feeding for babies and have separate sleeping areas where children can rest peacefully. Throughout the day, we encourage children's independence by demonstrating activities, doing them together and eventually letting them do them independently. From taking off their own coat and shoes to spreading butter on a sandwich - we guide your child step by step in their development.
