Kinderdagverblijf Hupsakee B.V. at Louwersdonk 54 in Breda has been providing small-scale, personal childcare for children from 8 weeks to 4 years since 2006. We operate two vertical groups – De Bengels and De Brakkies – each caring for a maximum of 10 children. Our dedicated pedagogical staff members Michelle, Joëlla, Linda, Pimpa, Jennifer, Marijke and Else offer warm care and attention every day. The spacious group rooms feature inviting corners: a doll corner with kitchen, a traffic corner, a reading nook and a large dining table for shared meals and activities. Both groups open directly onto a rich outdoor play area with natural hide-and-seek spots, a sandpit, ride-on toys, an outdoor kitchen and a vegetable garden where children grow their own vegetables, flowers and herbs. The garden offers both sunny and shaded areas, encouraging natural outdoor play. For the youngest children, a dedicated changing area and kitchen within the group ensure that our pedagogical staff remain close at hand. Sleeping rooms are directly adjacent to the group space, allowing smooth rest periods. From age 3, every toddler enjoys one morning per week of ‘peuterplus’ at our Paardeweide location, offering activities focused on language, social-emotional, cognitive and motor development. We believe in creating a safe, familiar environment that mirrors the home situation while stimulating children’s development. Through small groups and consistent caregivers, we provide a second home where children can be themselves and discover who they are through play.
