Fris! KDV Het Vlinderbos

Welcome to Fris! KDV Het Vlinderbos, our daycare centre in the heart of Ede. We provide care for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4, divided into a baby group (0-2 years, max. 12 children) and a toddler group (2-4 years, max. 16 children). Our location is set in a detached family home at Bennekomseweg 32, easily reached by car, bicycle and public transport. Everything we do is centred on a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and secure. We follow the Dalton principles: self-assured, playful, caring, connected and structured. Every child is given the space to grow towards independence at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff offer warm and loving care, with personal attention at the forefront. Our spacious garden invites outdoor play and discovery. We are close to the woods, playgrounds and a petting farm, so we regularly go on excursions. Sleeping outdoors is an option: we have special outdoor sleeping beds for an afternoon nap in the fresh air. Indoors, the group rooms are spread over two floors, giving each group its own familiar place. Structure and predictability give children peace of mind. That is why we work with a fixed daily schedule: playtime, fruit break, Uk & Puk activities, outdoor play, bread meal, nap/rest time, vegetable snack and more play. A warm lunch is served at midday and parents are kept informed of all the day’s adventures through the parent portal. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30, all year round (except official public holidays and one staff training day).
