Kinderdagverblijf Het Speelbos

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Het Speelbos, located at Schaapsdijkweg 56 in Venlo. We are a daycare centre with a clear green vision, providing responsible childcare for children aged 0 to 4. Our site covers 5,000 m² and is designed as a safe, natural play and living environment. Children are surrounded by animals, plants and natural materials that stimulate all their senses and imagination. At Het Speelbos we follow our own unique concept that emphasises rest, cleanliness and regularity. We use horizontal groups: separate baby groups ‘de uiltjes’ and ‘de egeltjes’ (0 – approx. 1.5 years), a toddler group ‘de hertjes’ (approx. 1.5 – 2.5 years) and a pre-school group ‘de vosjes’ (from approx. 2.5 years). Every child is given space to develop at his or her own pace under the guidance of experienced pedagogical staff. Our activities are fully focused on nature experience and healthy development. Children garden in our vegetable patch, learn to care for animals and discover seasons and natural processes. Themes and Early Childhood Education (VVE) using the Uk en Puk method complete the programme. We believe it is important for children to have real experiences and thus develop a lasting bond with nature. Our opening hours are generous: every weekday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, with no extra charges. We only offer fixed contracts; swapping days or hours is not possible.
