Fris! KDV Het Kabouterbos

Welcome to Fris! KDV Het Kabouterbos, our small-scale daycare located beneath the Stadspoort shopping centre in Ede. Thanks to our location near the A12, we are easily accessible for commuting parents. Here, children are given every opportunity to discover the world and grow towards independence step by step. Our location is spacious and comprises two cosy group rooms connected by a central corridor. The baby group accommodates up to 12 children aged 0-2 years, while the toddler group welcomes up to 16 children aged 2-4 years. Working with age-specific groups allows us to follow and stimulate each child’s development optimally. Outside, a large, challenging garden awaits where children can climb, cycle and play intensively. The natural environment invites exploration and offers new outdoor learning opportunities every day. We value healthy nutrition: the children receive fresh fruit and vegetables daily and we provide a warm, varied meal around noon. Our permanent team of pedagogical staff ensures social-emotional security. Every child knows who their teacher is that day, providing calm and trust. For parents who need to start early, extended care is available from 06:00; our standard opening hours are 07:00–18:30, all year round (except official public holidays). At Fris! Childcare we work according to Dalton principles: confident, playful, caring, connected and structured. We give children space to learn and grow independently in a safe, predictable environment. Together we take small steps on the path to great independence.
