Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Guppie, located at Duivenpad 12 in Rotterdam-Hillegersberg. Since 2001, we have been providing small-scale childcare on a unique spot at the edge of the Lage Bergse forest. Our daycare center is situated among the sports fields of Hillegersberg, where your child feels at home like a guppy in water. We consciously choose to remain small-scale with two vertical groups of maximum 13 children each. This means children of different ages play and learn together, just like in a warm family setting. Our permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff knows every child and parent personally. These familiar faces provide peace and continuity, which is essential for young children's development. In our homely atmosphere, we teach children to interact respectfully with each other. We recognize that every child is unique and communicates in their own way. Due to our small scale, we can optimally respond to individual needs. Whether your child needs extra rest, has a need for movement, or requires specific attention: we ensure there is space for every child to develop at their own pace. Inside, we offer a warm living room atmosphere where children feel safe. Outside, we have our own enclosed garden where children can play to their heart's content. Our location at the edge of the forest also provides plenty of opportunities for natural discovery trips and outdoor activities. When weather permits, we spend a lot of time outdoors, as outdoor play is essential for young children's development. As a parent, you are warmly welcome to come and take a look.
