Kinderdagverblijf Flekss - De Nowies

Welcome to Flekss Daycare – De Nowies, located in a fully renovated building at Kerkstraat 2 in the centre of Etten-Leur. We offer childcare in two groups: one vertical group (0-4 years) with a maximum of 15 children and one horizontal toddler group (2-4 years). The vertical group provides the very youngest with the calm and attention they need, while the toddler group focuses on the development of toddlers who are gaining more independence. Our location has two floors packed with challenging play corners. Downstairs you will find the interactive wall, ball and block pits and a basketball hoop; upstairs there is a separate play area with air-hockey table and a quiet corner for reading or sleeping. We work according to the four pedagogical goals of Riksen-Walraven: providing physical and emotional safety, promoting social and personal competences and passing on values and norms. In a playful way, children practise their language, motor skills and creativity; we sing together, do arts and crafts, read aloud and go outside at least twice a day in our secure garden. Nappies, wipes and bottle feeding are included. Fresh fruit and bread meals are provided and we take allergies or special dietary requirements into account. Each baby has its own cot; toddlers can rest on a stretcher or mattress. Parents receive two development meetings a year and we use the KIJK observation tool to tailor pre-school education (VVE) effectively. Feel free to drop by for a tour or trial morning; we are open from 6:15 am to 6:30 pm and guarantee small-scale, committed childcare where every child can be themselves.
