Kinderdagverblijf Escamp

Kinderdagverblijf Escamp is located at Vrederustlaan 100 in the Escamp district of The Hague. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and safe environment. Our dedicated pedagogical staff welcome every child with warmth and love, guiding them as they discover themselves and the world around them. We work with three age-based groups: Green Bears (babies), Blue Bears (toddlers) and Orange Bears (preschoolers). This horizontal grouping lets children play with peers and enjoy activities suited to their developmental stage. We use the KIJK! observation system to track each child’s progress and share daily updates with parents through our digital parent portal, covering meals, naps, play and more. Healthy food and plenty of exercise are central to our approach. Every day we serve a warm meal prepared with fresh, mostly organic ingredients, following the Dutch “Wheel of Five”. Our large garden offers space for sports and outdoor play where children can run, explore nature and have fun. Through the Pedagogisch Actief! method we build a strong foundation for the future in a playful way. Staff log competencies in a digital diary and tailor activities to each child’s needs. Together with parents, schools and the municipality we create a safe, stimulating neighbourhood where every child can thrive.
