Kinderdagverblijf Eigenwijz

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Eigenwijz, located at Hattemattestraat 7 in Gramsbergen. We provide small-scale, professional day-care for children aged 0 to 4 years. Since our start in January 2015, Eigenwijz has become a trusted second home for the very youngest in the region. Our Hattemattestraat location offers 16 child places and works exclusively with horizontal groups. This means babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and sleep separately, so each age group receives the right stimuli and rest. Fixed staff members are on hand every day with personal attention and familiar faces for your child. Brothers and sisters can of course always come and say hello, but the layout ensures calm and regularity. Music plays an important role with us. We sing, dance and make music together with simple instruments. These musical activities not only stimulate language development, but also social interaction and children’s self-confidence. For the pre-schoolers we use the Uk & Puk programme: an officially recognised Early Childhood Education programme that prepares children for primary school in a playful way. Think of theme-based activities, story time and playful exercises with sounds, colours and shapes. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 18:30, offering flexibility for working or studying parents. We believe it is important that your child feels safe, secure and challenged with us.
