Kinderdagverblijf Molenwiek

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Molenwiek, a brand-new facility run by Stichting Kinderopvang Walcheren (KOW) at Molenweg 57 in the centre of Oost-Souburg. After more than a year of renovation we opened our doors on 8 May 2024 and now welcome up to 76 children aged 0-4 every day in a bright, modern and sustainably designed building. We operate five age-specific groups: two baby groups for children 0-2 years, two toddler groups for children 2-4 years and one vertical group for 0-4 years. Each group has its own quiet sleeping area and a spacious discovery corner furnished with natural materials, soft colours and toys that match your child’s developmental stage. The mill theme reflected in our name is echoed in the atmospheric details and in the creative corner where children can paint their own cardboard mill. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe, familiar environment in which every child is given space to play, grow and discover. We offer flexible childcare days: you can choose half or full days with no minimum attendance requirement, as long as it suits your child’s well-being. Breast-feeding is warmly welcomed and can be given quietly in a separate feeding area. In short, at Molenwiek children find a warm second home where they feel safe and secure, while parents can go about their daily activities with peace of mind.
