Kinderdagverblijf De Zilverberg

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Zilverberg, a small-scale daycare centre operated by HumanKind at Beethovenlaan 28 in Hengelo. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two horizontal age groups. Our doors are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We believe in calm, routine and familiar faces. That is why we deliberately keep our groups small with fixed pedagogical staff who really get to know your child. Every baby, toddler and pre-schooler receives the personal attention that is so important for secure attachment and relaxed development. Our location is set up as one homely group in which children of the same age play and learn together. The youngest babies have their own quiet sleeping corner with cribs and changing tables, while toddlers and pre-schoolers can romp in the spacious play area or get creative at the large table. Outside we have a safe, green playground where children can run, cycle and explore. At De Zilverberg we work with the experience-oriented Uk & Puk programme. Through play we stimulate language, motor and social-emotional development. Think of singing during nappy changes, reading aloud in circle time, finger painting or baking sand cakes together in the garden. We follow your child’s rhythm: naps, bottle- or breastfeeding and healthy meals are seamlessly adapted to the home situation. Parents experience our care as warm, involved and transparent. Every day you get a glimpse of your child’s experiences through our app and our pedagogical staff are always ready for a personal conversation. Together we make sure your son or daughter comes to De Zilverberg with a big smile – and goes home with an even bigger one.
