Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Schatkist, located at Feldbiss 210 in the heart of Bleijerheide, Kerkrade. As part of Stichting Flow Kinderopvang, we have been providing professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 2016. Housed within primary school De Schatkist, we operate two horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0 to 2 and a toddler group for children aged 2 to 4. This structure allows us to support each child’s development optimally with age-specific activities and guidance. At De Schatkist, healthy nutrition and ample physical activity are central. Our pedagogical staff provide a healthy daily snack of seasonal fruit and vegetables, and serve water, tea or milk instead of sugary drinks. Sandwiches are topped with lean and varied spreads such as hummus or fruit spread. Physical activity receives full attention: with the youngest children we engage in simple movement games, both indoors in our safe spaces and outdoors on the enclosed playground. Structure and recognisability form the basis of our approach. We follow a fixed daily schedule in which eating, care and play moments alternate in a calm manner. Your child’s sleep rhythm is central: in our separate sleeping areas, babies and toddlers can nap safely and peacefully. For the very youngest, our baby specialists follow your child’s individual feeding and sleep rhythm, ensuring the transition from home to childcare is as smooth as possible. Good contact with you as a parent is essential. Through the parent portal Konnect we keep you informed about the day’s events and take ample time for personal handovers during the fixed drop-off and pick-up times (morning until 09:00, afternoon from 16:00). This way you know exactly how your child’s day went and can go to work with peace of mind. Kinderdagverblijf De Schatkist is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 333076722 and is supervised by the GGD Zuid-Limburg. Thanks to this registration, you can apply for childcare allowance.
