Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Pinguïn, a small-scale daycare center located at Berlijnstraat 2 in Hengelo. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, safe and homely environment. Our vertical group consists of a maximum of 16 children, with dedicated staff who give each child personal attention. We are open 5 days a week from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 52 weeks per year. Our pedagogical approach is based on the insights of Montessori, Pikler, Malaguzzi and Gordon. We believe that every child is unique and therefore follow the rhythm and needs of the individual child. Daily we offer activities that match your child's developmental stage, including playful introduction to the English language through 'English with Benny'. Our spacious outdoor playground offers plenty of opportunities to play and discover. We believe it's important that children can move and play both indoors and outdoors in a safe environment. All necessities such as diapers, care products and snacks are included in our rate. We offer flexible childcare days and you can swap days when needed. This way we can best accommodate your family situation.
