Kinderdagverblijf De Pauw

Kinderdagverblijf De Pauw is located in the heart of De Rijp, within the modern Kindcentrum De Pauw at Jan Ploegerlaan 1e. Under one roof you will find not only our daycare centre, but also primary schools De Balein and 2-Master, the GGD Hollands Noorden and the Kennemerland Library. This unique collaboration offers children aged 0 to 4 a safe, familiar place where childcare and education flow seamlessly into one another. We work with two vertical groups, in which babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together. Each group has a maximum of 14 children, so our pedagogical staff can give every child individual time and attention. The spacious, bright group rooms are carefully furnished with different corners: a quiet sleeping area with cots and cribs, a cosy reading corner, a creative table and a challenging construction corner. Through the large windows, the children look out onto our own outdoor space: a safe, green playground with a sandpit, slide and a separate area for the very youngest. Our pedagogical policy is based on Forte Kinderopvang's vision: children are allowed to be themselves and are given every opportunity to discover who they are. We offer a rich range of activities, tailored to your child's age and interests. For the youngest, this means lots of cuddling, singing and discovering objects. Toddlers are playfully introduced to language and numeracy skills through the VVE programme 'Uk & Puk'. We work thematically: one week about the forest, then about traffic or seasons. During these themes we regularly go on trips: to the petting zoo, the library or just for a walk through the village. At our centre, parents are not guests, but partners. We discuss daily how things are going, share photos and stories and invite you to join in activities. Together we ensure that your child can make the transition to primary school with confidence and a smile. Kinderdagverblijf De Pauw is open daily from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, with the possibility of extra early care from 7.00 am. Half-days are negotiable.
