Kinderdagverblijf De Paddestoel

Kinderdagverblijf De Paddestoel is located at Wendelmoet Claesdochterlaan 1A in Monnickendam. We provide daycare for up to 79 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into four vertical groups: Pippeloentje, Kleine Beer, Hazeltje and Rupsje Nooitgenoeg. Each group welcomes 12 children and is guided by two permanent, qualified pedagogical staff members. The groups share spacious, secure outdoor play areas and separate sleeping rooms, allowing every child to rest when needed. Our daycare follows the VVE programme UK & PUK, which focuses on language and social development and playfully prepares children for primary school. We maintain a consistent daily rhythm that balances free play with guided activities. The layout, toys and activities are tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage. We believe children thrive in a familiar environment built on calm, cleanliness and routine. We are committed to small-scale, personal care. Our experienced staff give every child the attention they deserve. All communication is conducted in Dutch, both with parents and with the children. We are open all year round, except for official public holidays, and we also welcome families during the summer break. You can bring your child for a minimum of two days a week, fostering a strong bond with our team and the other children.
