Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Ontdekking B.V. located at Pandelaar 37 in Gemert. We provide daycare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our mixed-age group, named ‘De Bloemetjes’, is founded on the belief that children of different ages grow and learn together. We cultivate a safe, homely atmosphere in which every child feels free to explore. Each group is staffed by up to four permanent pedagogical professionals who know every child intimately. They guide play and development and guarantee at least one outdoor session of twenty minutes every day. In our discovery garden children explore natural materials and enjoy ample movement; the sandpit invites imaginative play while introducing concepts such as hard, soft, wet and dry. Early childhood education (VVE) is embedded in our daily programme. Parents receive developmental sheets to continue support at home, and we host parent meetings and provide tips to reinforce learning outside the centre. Our pedagogical and VVE coaches draw up an annual plan with clear goals and methods. For babies we provide bottle feeding and quiet moments in separate sleeping areas. We work exclusively with permanent staff; no temporary workers are used. When a child moves to another group within our organisation, familiar faces guide the transition, ensuring continuity and minimising disruption.
