Welcome to miniKeet, the daycare centre for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4 in Bunschoten-Spakenburg. We are located at sports park De Vinken, on the edge of town, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the horses at the riding school next door. In our brand-new, single-storey building that meets all the latest standards, we offer a warm, homely environment where children are given every opportunity to grow. At miniKeet we believe that raising children is something we do together. We take care away from parents and give children a stable, safe base full of love and attention. Our team of pedagogical professionals – all holding a relevant MBO qualification, a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and registered in the Childcare Personal Records Database – is ready every day with a heart for the children and an eye for their development. We work with four groups: the minies, midies, maxies and mixies. One group is vertical, with children of different ages playing and learning together. The other three groups are horizontal, with children of the same age together. The groups regularly visit each other and undertake activities together. We follow the Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme ‘Enriching with Kiki’, in which cuddly bear Kiki playfully stimulates children in the areas of language, motor skills, social skills and more. Our spacious group rooms have patio doors opening onto private gardens, and we make use of a large, safe playground within walking distance. Every day a warm, healthy meal is served, prepared according to the guidelines of the Netherlands Nutrition Centre and cooked by our partner Spoony. We guide children in learning to sleep independently in small, quiet bedrooms with their own beds. We are here not only for the children, but also for their parents. Through open communication, practical support and a warm welcome, we ensure that parents feel supported. Letting children grow and helping parents flourish – that’s what we stand for.
