De Kleinste Reus Centrum is a small-scale daycare center in the heart of Amsterdam, located in a beautiful monumental building at Noorderstraat 6. We are part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) De Kleine Reus, which allows us to seamlessly connect with preschool and primary education. Our daycare is specifically designed for children aged 0 to 4 years, with babies welcome from 8 weeks old. We operate with two horizontal groups perfectly tailored to your child's developmental stage. Our baby/toddler group accommodates up to 16 children from 0 to 2-2.5 years, with three dedicated pedagogical staff specialized in the youngest children. The toddler group is designed for 16 children from 2-2.5 to 4 years, with two dedicated pedagogical staff guiding toddlers in their transition. Our location features a private enclosed playground where children can safely play and explore. We take particular pride in our vegetable garden, where children playfully learn about vegetables, fruits, and the natural cycle of growth and bloom. The garden extends our pedagogical approach centered on natural curiosity and discovery. As part of IKC De Kleine Reus, we offer not only daycare but also preschool education through our own preschool 'de Buren'. This collaboration ensures a continuous developmental line from baby to toddler, utilizing the expertise and facilities of the entire child center. Our pedagogical staff work closely with preschool and primary school, contributing to a smooth transition to primary education. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and offer both full and half-day care options. Our small-scale approach guarantees personal attention and a familiar environment where your child feels safe and loved.
