Welcome to daycare De Hooijbergh, located at Tin 6 in the heart of Barsingerhorn. We are a unique nature daycare where children from 0 to 4 years old fully immerse themselves in outdoor life. With us, everything revolves around space, freedom and the magical connection with animals and nature. Our children's farm is the pride of our location. Children grow up among pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, horses, ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. The animals are not an attraction, but real friends with whom the children interact daily. They learn horseback riding, ride on the go-kart and help out in our own vegetable garden. Even the youngest ones are safely involved in these activities, always adapted to their developmental level. We believe that outdoor play is best for young children's development. That's why our children go outside every day, regardless of the weather. We even offer the possibility to sleep outside, safely and sheltered in our special outdoor sleeping areas. The fresh air and natural environment contribute to healthy growth and development. For our babies and toddlers, we have everything needed. We change, feed and care for your child with loving attention. All necessary care products are available, so you can leave your child worry-free. We use a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a warm, homely atmosphere. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding young children in a natural environment. We provide pre-school education (VVE), where we stimulate your child's development through playful discovery trips in our garden and children's farm.
