Kinderopvang De Groene Wereld

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Groene Wereld, a small-scale daycare located in a charming former school building from 1906 at Hendrikus Chabotstraat 70 in Sprang-Capelle. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can play, learn and grow naturally. We care for up to 36 children aged 0-4 years in three groups: De Koolmees (mixed-age group 0-4), De Hop (baby group 0-2) and De IJsvogel (toddler group 2-4). Our educational approach is inspired by Emmi Pikler, Reggio Emilia and Thomas Gordon. We believe children develop at their own pace and provide ample space for exploration using natural materials, calm colors and open-ended toys that spark imagination. Our spacious garden features a vegetable garden, nature garden and playground where children play outdoors daily, learning about seasons through hands-on experiences like mud kitchen cooking, harvesting vegetables and discovering small creatures. Healthy nutrition and sustainability are central to our philosophy. We serve daily organic meals and snacks freshly prepared in our kitchen. For babies, we offer a peaceful corner with soft colors and natural toys, following each child's individual rhythm while providing bottle feeding, diapers and care products as needed. Parent partnership is essential to us. We regularly visit seniors at Elzenhoven to foster connections between generations through singing, crafting, gardening or simply chatting.
