Located at Heiligharn 424 in the heart of Den Helder, childcare centre De Dijkbouwers is part of Kindcentrum de Schooten, where children aged 0-13 come together under one roof. Officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2014, our location welcomes up to 28 children. De Dijkbouwers operates a single vertical group for children from 0 to 4 years old. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers play, learn and grow together in a homely setting with a maximum of 12 children at any one time. Thanks to this small-scale approach, every child truly knows our pedagogical staff and vice versa. We believe it is essential that children feel safe and secure, so they have the space to develop at their own pace. We work closely with primary school De Dijk, which is housed in the same building. This collaboration enables us to offer a continuous developmental line: from baby to toddler and later on to primary school. Transitioning therefore becomes a familiar process, as children are already acquainted with the environment, the faces and the atmosphere. Our pedagogical staff are ready to provide your child with a warm and safe place.
